Search for new Community Reference Group members
Local community members have been encouraged to apply to join the Stockyard Hill Wind Farm Community Reference Group for the next membership term.
Current Community Reference Group Chairman Mr Douglas Ball said he encouraged local community members to apply for the next round of membership which begins in December and runs for two years.
“The Community Reference Group has played an important role in enhancing the project during the construction phase and we encourage members of our local community to apply and be part of this important group.
“Following completion of construction, the community representative group will continue to provide feedback and work with the project as it enters its operational phase.”
Stockyard Hill Wind Farm General Manager Mr Jackson Hill highlighted the valuable role the reference group provides in the project.
“The Community Reference Group plays a key role for the project. It helps to provide a direct link to the community where we can provide further information on the project while receiving valuable feedback from the community.
The Stockyard Hill Wind Farm Community Reference Group also plays a vital role in assisting the team on its community investment program and community activities.”
